MONDAY 26th JUNE 2000 Here we are 7 am in the morning. My best friend Ashley is taking me for a walk - I've kept my mum awake all night digging and panting - It won't be long now |

8 am The midwife is just checking all is well before she goes to school |
| My contractions started at 09:15 and my first pup (a fawn boy) arrived at 09:36 - No pictures yet - I am scrabbling about too much for my mum to get the camera. | |

Both are feeding well - Must go - there's another one on the way. The dark colouring gradually fades - It indicates that they will evetually have rich red-fawn coats. |

It is now 23:00 and I
have just had pup Number 12, sadly I lost number 4, she was born dead. I
have a beautifully marked brindle dog and one brindle bitch. All the
others are fawns with black masks - I've really caused my mum a lot
of hassle, I had three of them outside on two separate occasions without
any warning. I only went for a pee.
The results so far are 8 dogs and 3 bitches.. I am very tired now and so is my mum, at least I can get some sleep but she can't in case I stand up and tread on one or roll over on top of them. |
